YOUR SITE,
LOOKED AFTER.
Updates, backups, monitoring and a fast fix when something breaks — for a fixed price, every month, with no minimum term.
See the three plans → or message on WhatsApp →IBIX’s Website Care Plan keeps a website online, secure and up to date without you having to think about it. Three fixed plans — £35, £75 and £150 a month — cover everything from a quiet weekly check to a same-day fix when something goes wrong. There’s no minimum term: cancel any month and the site keeps working, because a care plan is upkeep, not a licence to keep it alive. It suits any small-business website — one IBIX built, or one someone else did, hand-built or WordPress.
Built By Us, Or Built By Someone Else
The Care Plan does a different job depending which is true — here’s the honest version of both.
If We Built Your Site
Hand-built HTML and CSS, so there’s less to go wrong to start with — no plugin stack quietly going out of date behind it, exactly as /web-design already tells buyers. The Care Plan still earns its keep here: hosting renewal, your content edits, monitoring, and a fast fix if the host itself has a bad day. Most sites we’ve built are comfortable on Essentials.
If Someone Else Built It
WordPress and plugin-based sites carry a different risk. The UK government’s own 2025/26 small-business breaches survey found that 46% of small businesses had identified a breach or attack in the past year, and a 2025 count of publicly disclosed WordPress vulnerabilities ran past 11,000 — up sharply on the year before, with some exploited within hours of going public. That’s exactly what Care Plan and Priority are built to catch: updates applied promptly, malware scanned for, and cleanup included at Priority.
Three Plans, One Fixed Price Each
Published prices, not a "book a call" form — pick the plan that matches what your site needs and start this month.
Cover the basics, nothing more
Included:
- Core, plugin and theme updates
- Nightly backups, kept and restore-tested
- Uptime monitoring, 24/7
- SSL certificate renewal
- Malware scanning (not cleanup)
Right for: static or low-traffic sites that just need the lights kept on.
The plan most of our own clients are on
Everything in Essentials:
- Core, plugin and theme updates

- Uptime monitoring, 24/7
- SSL certificate renewal
Plus, at this tier:

Right for: most small-business sites — WordPress or hand-built — that get real visitors.
For sites where downtime costs you bookings
Everything in Care Plan:
- Core, plugin and theme updates
- Nightly backups, kept and restore-tested
- Uptime monitoring, 24/7
- SSL certificate renewal
- Malware scanning and standard hardening
- 30–60 minutes of content edits a month
Plus, at this tier:
- Malware cleanup included, not just scanning
- More development hours each month
- Faster response when something breaks
Right for: sites where downtime costs you bookings or sales.
All three plans are billed monthly with no minimum term. Response times are agreed in writing when you start — see the FAQ below.
What’s Not Included
- Malware scanning is included from Essentials up; removing an infection is included at Priority and quoted separately on Essentials or Care Plan, if it ever happens
- New features, new pages or a redesign — quoted separately, same as any other job
- Content writing beyond your tier’s edit minutes
- Third-party licence or subscription fees — plugins, apps, email mailboxes
- Anything on hosting we don’t control, if you host elsewhere
- Design changes — that’s a small project, not maintenance
What A Month Covers
Every Week
Uptime and security checks, on every plan, every week.
Every Month
Core, plugin and theme updates; a fresh backup; your edit minutes, if your plan includes them.
Every Quarter
A deeper review — broken links, slow pages, anything that’s drifted since the site went live.
When Something Breaks
You tell us — WhatsApp, phone or email — and we start looking the same working day.
The Care Plan, Answered
What actually happens each month?
Updates, a backup, and a check. Core software, plugins and themes get updated, a fresh backup is taken and restore-tested, uptime is monitored around the clock, and your SSL certificate is watched so it never lapses. On Care Plan and Priority we also run a malware scan and use your edit minutes for whatever small changes you send over.
You get a plain-English note if anything needed fixing — not a wall of jargon.
What if my site isn’t WordPress?
Then there’s less to do — and we’ll say so. A static, hand-built site (the kind IBIX builds) has no plugin stack quietly going out of date behind it, so most of the Care Plan’s job on a site like that is hosting, backups, monitoring and your content edits, not patching. Most hand-built IBIX sites are comfortable on Essentials.
If your site runs on WordPress, Shopify or another platform, the same three plans still apply — updates and hardening simply have more to do.
Is there a minimum term?
No. The care plan is monthly and there is no minimum term — cancel whenever you like and the site keeps working, it just stops being looked after.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
It depends which plan you’re on, and we’ll always tell you plainly. Essentials and Care Plan include malware scanning, so an infection is caught and flagged quickly; removing it is quoted separately as a one-off job. Priority includes cleanup as part of the plan, with no extra invoice.
Whichever plan you’re on, we tell you what we found and what it costs to fix before doing anything.
Do you host the site as well?
Often, yes — but not always, and either way the Care Plan still works. Sites IBIX built usually sit on hosting in your name that we manage; sites built elsewhere can stay on their existing host, and we work with whoever holds that account. We don’t control every host’s own uptime, so we can’t promise what we don’t run — only what we do.
What counts as a "content edit"?
Small changes to what’s already on the page — a new price, an updated opening time, a swapped photo, a fixed typo. Care Plan includes 30–60 minutes of this a month; Priority includes more. A new page, a redesign or anything that needs its own copy is a small project, quoted separately.
How fast do you respond when something breaks?
Response times are agreed in writing when you start, so it’s a real commitment rather than a marketing number. As a rule, Priority is looked at first and fastest; all three plans hear from us the same working day for anything urgent.
Can I start on one plan and move up?
Yes, any time. Most clients start on Essentials or Care Plan and move up if the site starts getting busier or downtime starts costing bookings. There’s no penalty for changing plan, and no minimum term to wait out first.
