What Is Included, And Why It Costs What It Does
Every page is written by hand in HTML and CSS, so the site loads only the code it uses and nothing is locked behind a theme or a plugin licence. From the Business tier up, the on-page SEO is part of the build: page titles, meta descriptions written per page, structured data, and the site submitted and indexed on launch day.
Every site is built to pass Google's own speed and usability checks, and rechecked against real visitors after launch, because most people will meet your business on a phone, on mobile data.
What You Own When We're Done
Every account is created in your name with IBIX given access, never the other way round.
- The domain name: registered to you, renewable by you, transferable without asking us.
- The hosting account and DNS: in your name, with our access as a guest we can be removed from.
- The site files: the actual HTML, CSS and images, handed over on request.
- Google Analytics and Search Console: your properties, your data history.
- Your Google Business Profile: claimed and verified under your account.
- No minimum term: the care plan is monthly and cancellable; the site keeps working either way.
Optional, and only if you need it
- From £45/month for the Website Care Plan: updates, backups, monitoring and, from £85, content edits and a monthly report. Monthly, cancel any time.
- £550 one-off for SEO setup after launch, AI-search setup included. Ongoing SEO in Grimsby at £500, £1,200 or £2,000 a month.
- £900 for a full second-language version of the site.
- £120 for each extra page beyond your tier, written and built.
None of that is required, and the care plan has no minimum term. Several of the local plans we checked in July 2026 run to a six or twelve-month commitment, so it is worth asking. How A Build Actually Runs
Six steps. You approve the price before anything starts, and you see the site before it goes live.
Call and fixed price
We look at what you've got now and what you're competing with, then send a written scope and one fixed price. No hourly billing, no "discovery phase" invoice. 50% to begin, 50% before the site goes live.
Structure and words
We agree the page list, then talk you through it once and write the pages from what you say. You don't get sent a blank document. We still need your photos, logo and service details, and that's the step that decides your timeline.
Design and build
A one-page site is about a week, four-page starter sites typically about two, ten-page business sites three to four, and 15+ page builds four to six, measured from the day your details land, not from the deposit. Two rounds of revisions are included from Starter up, one on the one-page site.
Live, indexed, tracked
Domain, hosting, the padlock (SSL), Google Search Console, a request for Google to list the site, and analytics: all done on the day, so the site is findable rather than merely published.
Yours to run, or ours to look after
Take the files and run it yourself, or keep us on a Care Plan from £45 a month for updates, backups and, on the higher plans, edits. Both are real options; neither is a lock-in.
Then get it found
A new site is not automatically a visible one. If you want to compete for searches, that's SEO in Grimsby, a separate service with its own timeline, and we'd rather tell you that than pretend a build is a ranking.

How much does a website cost in Grimsby?

What is included in the price?
The writing, the domain, the first year's hosting and email forwarding on your own domain, at every tier. From the Business tier up, page titles, meta descriptions, headings, structured data, the sitemap and Google indexing are part of the build too. Ongoing SEO is a separate service, explained on our SEO in Grimsby page.
What counts as one page?
Everything on a single scrolling page, at one web address. About you, your services, testimonials and contact details sit as sections of the same page, with the menu jumping to each. The limit is not length but that one address can only be about one thing. If you sell three or four services people search for separately, start at Starter.
How long does it take to build a website?
Two to four weeks for most sites. A one-page site is about a week, a four-page starter site around two weeks, a ten-page business site three to four, and a 15-plus-page build four to six, counted from the day your details reach us. What adds time is photos and the details only you know, so we ask for those up front.
Do I own the website, or are you renting it to me?
You own it. The domain and the hosting account are registered in your name, the site files are handed over on request, and there is no minimum term. The care plan is monthly and you can stop it whenever you like without the site going dark. Ask anyone you speak to for that answer in writing.
What happens after the site goes live?
Nothing breaks if you do nothing. It is a static, hand-built site with no plugin stack behind it. The first year's hosting and your domain are inside the build price; after that they renew in your name. If you would rather not touch it, our Website Care Plan starts at £45 a month and covers updates, backups and monitoring; content edits come in at £85.
